Panel One is a completely unique entity in the world of comics. It’s about comic creators, no matter their background or experience, coming together to help one another be better at making comics and spread the word about this amazing medium of entertainment.

Panel One itself has been around for just over 1 year, and on June 4th 2016 they will hold their first Comic Creator Festival.

A completely unique event dedicated to just the people that make comics in Calgary and area, it’s focused on the local books, the people who make them, and helping others get their start.

In order to make the best experience for both the creators and the people who wish to come down and meet them a Kickstarter Campaign is being held for the Festival. We Talk Comics host Mo has been working closely to help launch a successful campaign and he’s invited one of the collaborators and long time friend of the show Steven Charles Rosia to come on and discuss the campaign. Also joining them, along with regular WTC hosts Keith and Chris, is Calgary artist Nick Johnson of the popular Wolf Hands web comic to talk about what being part of a unique community like Panel One means.
