WTC Special: Whose Script is it Anyway CCEE 2016

Arnold Schwarzenegger would have made an interesting Sgt. Rock in this script.

Ah what could have been…

One of the most popular We Talk Comics gimmicks makes it’s return with a new episode of Scriptments, this one recorded in front of a huge crowd live at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2016.

The concept is simple, we perform the parts from unmade Hollywood films that have been leaked onto the internet to give an idea of what the movie may have been like if it had actually been produced,

The scripts this time are:

Batman vs Superman: Asylum
Sgt Rock
Batman Year One
Green Arrow Supermax.

The script to Green Arrow: Escape From Supermax, a brilliant new take on the character or a complete mess?

We didn’t get to the The Crow 2037: A New Age of Gods and Monsters

Joining WTC regular hosts Brett, Chris and Keith on stage is some good friends.

The excellent comic book scribe Ryan Ferrier whose works you can read in D4VE and it’s sequel as well as Hot Damn. Ryan brings a decent Christopher Walken and absolutely awesome Arnold Schwarzenegger imitation to the table.

Jennifer LeBlanc, an actual actress who took part in the previous year’s reading goes slumming again with WTC, and we’re very grateful she did.

And Renegade Arts Entertainment publisher Alexander Finbow also returns. Be on the lookout (listen out?) during the show for Alex’s imitation of a British guy. Also, he brings a British guy imitation to the reading. It’s either because Alex is such a diverse performer, or because Alex is from Great Britain, we’re not really sure which.

All this plus you, the listeners, who were in the audience that day and also get on stage to perform!

So get ready for some serious fun and try the latest from We Talk Comics!
